Brokerage event: Science with and for Society 2016

SiS.net, the network of National Contact Points for Science with and for Society, and the European Commission are organising together a networking event on Science with and for Society (Swafs).

This event is targeted at all stakeholders interested in the Science with and for Society Programme of Horizon 2020. It will be of particular interest and relevance to members of the Science with and for Society research community who are looking for networking and funding opportunities within Horizon 2020.

The aim of Science with and for Society is to build effective cooperation between science and society, to recruit new talent for science and to pair scientific excellence with social awareness and responsibility. (Science with and for Society Work Programme 2016-2017).

The event is free and limited to 150 participants. (2 persons per organisation as well as up to 20 participants per country)
 
Why to participate?

    To get detailed information from the European Commission on the first Horizon 2020 calls of the Science with and for Society Programme
    To get to know key R&D players including researchers, representatives from CSOs and NGOs, practitioners, research programme managers as well as policy makers and research leaders
    To participate in short, sharp 15 minute one-to-one meetings to foster effective networking
    To present, discuss and develop new project ideas at international level
